Our 90th Anniversary Event!

There were 106 Kiwanians and guests in attendance at the Best Western Inn on the Bay, May 9th, to celebrate our 90 years of service to Owen Sound and beyond. We were honoured to welcome many guests to our event, including our Kiwanis International President Dr. John Button as our Keynote Speaker.

Our MC for the evening was Former Governor Gary Levine who led the dinner with a video he produced for our club. You may view this video on our website and on You Tube. PED Susan recited the Objects of Kiwanis, PLG Linda gave the toast to Kiwanis International and Reverend Tweddle led us in our grace.

Well Deserved Awards!

We had the pleasure to witness several awards being given out, beginning with the Walter Zeller Fellowship.

Past Owen Sound Golden K Secretary Ann Kelly noted so many of the wonderful contributions of their Past President Jack Tweddle. It was their Club's unanimous decision to award their closing funds toward this Zeller Fellowship in support of our global Eliminate project.
