Congratulations to Our Centennial Medal Recipients!

This year has been the 100th year of Kiwanis International and a medal was struck. We were pleased to present this medal to our faithful Past Presidents in attendance: Andy Drury, Gord Harris, Clarke McLeod, Don Sweatman, Bob Miller and John Prettie. Thank you for your continuing service to our club!

Kiwanis Builds Leaders!

LG Eric inducted new Board members reminding them of their duties and responsibilities to the club. Several board members will be continuing on from the past year. K Sean McMurray is the newest member, rejoining the Board. PE Susan Davey was welcomed into her new position by LG Eric. Treasurer Paul received his lapel pin as continues in his role.

PP Paul handed the gavel over to our newest president, Chief of Police Services for the City of Owen Sound, P Bill Sornberger. P Bill outlined his hopes for the year ahead and added his thanks to PP Paul for all of his hard work on our behalf this past year. P Bill acknowledges that he has a very hard act to follow.

Final Thanks!

We all express a sincere thank you to PP Paul for captaining the K ship this year, with a steady hand on the wheel. Thank you to all our committee chairs and their members for donating time and talent to ensure the success of our many endeavours. Thank you, as well, to the entire Kiwanis Kitchen Krew for their recent hard work at Grey Roots Pratie Oaten on October 4th. The Board reminds volunteers to enjoy a snack on us when working a shift. Onward and upward for a busy 2015-2016 ahead!
