The Builder for October 29th Social

President Bill Sornberger greeted 26 Kiwanians and guests at our October social held at the home of PG Gary and Julia Levine. We were very pleased that Peggy Moulaison was able to join us after her night at OSHaRE. Please speak with K Michelle or Board Member Sean McMurray should you wish to volunteer there. It is a very rewarding experience.

Kiwanian Stew Andrew created a wide variety of sumptuous treats for our gathering. We thank him for his hours of work preparing our appetizers. They were delicious.

P Bill presented our Food Committee Chair, Michelle Kobryn, with a Kiwanis lunch bag in appreciation of all the hours she has donated over the past year to keep our Kiwanis Kitchen humming along. Lunch is on us, Michelle...

PG Gary returned PP Peter Little's signature golf ball, found while searching the woods for his own wayward Callaway. Fore!

A few UNICEF boxes have been returned and other Kiwanians have taken some away. Please add your change to change the lives of others.

Guests guessed their guise

with some success...

or not.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

As Halloween passes by, we are reminded of an important luncheon meeting this Thursday, November 5th. We will gather together to spend some time to remember those who have served our country and continue to serve. Please add your name(s) if you are able to attend. PLG Linda van Aalst will be our MC for this event.

November, as well, means Christmas tree sales time. Chair Jim McManaman and his committee are busy ordering trees and, for the first time, Christmas tree stands. These are being purchased from the Walker family as they will no longer be selling trees due to the passing of Mr. Walker. This is a very social activity and a great fundraiser for our club.

Santa Claus is coming to town...on November 21st. Chair Andrew Drury will be looking for helpers on the day. There will be more information to come out to all of you elves out there!

Food for thought...
